Scripture Memory

One of my New Year's resolutions was to memorize 25 Bible verses this year (two a month, plus a "theme" verse). It has been such a great experience so far and I wanted to invite you to join me.

Here's what we'll do....on roughly the 1st and 15th of each month, I will post what verse I intend to memorize. You can leave a comment letting me know what verse you'll be memorizing.

Why do I want you to comment? Simply for accountability.

You might choose to only do one verse a month...maybe you want to do one verse a week. Do what works for you.

I know it's not the 1st or the 15th, but let's start today, shall we?

I'm polishing up Isaiah 58:6-11, but I've started working on Hosea 6:3

Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises he will appear; He will come like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth. ~ Hosea 6:3

Care to join me?

  1. I think this is a neat idea! I have been working with Pk on Susan Hunts My ABC Bible Verses and I love it (http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/books/My-ABC-Bible-Verses-Hiding-Susan-Hunt/9781581340051-item.html?ikwid=susan+hunt&ikwsec=Home)
While I haven't been doing memory verses myself per se, I've been kind of going along for the ride.
I'd love to join you, I just need to decide what to start with.
