It is such a beautiful day today, and the girls asked if we could take a picnic lunch to the park nearby. We loaded up our wagon with lunch, school books and blanket and set off.
After eating lunch on benches over looking the lake, we played on a playground for a bit, then headed to find a spot to do some school work. We found the perfect location!
After sufficiently working our brains, the girls cooled off at the splash pad. Next time we need to remember to take our bathing suits and towels!
I love days like this - simple, perfect days!

ReplyDeleteThis is one of those regional parks that you have to pay $5 to drive into. But when you live withing walking distance, you can walk on in for free.
