Today Kevin had the opportunity to climb Unicorn Peak in Washington. This is what it looks like without any snow - you can see why they named it Unicorn Peak.
He drove up to a campground near Mt. Rainier last night, and the group set off first thing this morning. It's still very snowy there, so it was a cold night of camping!
He saw this little fox critter....
He got some great pictures - it was a beautiful day for climbing. This is Mt. Rainier (tallest mountain in Washington).

And you can't really tell from this picture, but he said it was quite steep.
He came home exhausted. He got here about 5:30 pm and by 7pm had gone to bed!
WOW!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo Cool!!!!
Kevin, I bet you had a super fun time!!!! Congrats on the climb!
Beautiful pictures. Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
Amazing! I can't believe how brave Kevin is to do this kind of climbing - I have trouble getting up on a ladder to clean the gutters! It's absolutely spectacular but so scary! Congrats on conquering another goal!
