Church Picnic

After almost a year of attending Harvest Christian Church, it's beginning to feel like home and family. We are still meeting new people and getting to know people better....getting more involved. We had quite a "social" weekend this past weekend. We went rafting with 45 others this past week, and then last night was an all church picnic at our pastor's house. A lot of people were there and there was tons of stuff for the kids (and adults) to do.

There was also a pie baking contest, which I entered and Kevin judged. I didn't win...I didn't even place, but it was fun. I made a peach pie which was quite good!

It's been almost a year...and taken a lot of effort....but it feels to good to have a community of fellow believers.
