I didn't give my camera to Kevin when he and Sydney went to the summit. Thankfully, Dave took some pictures and emailed them to us.
Here are a couple of Kevin and Syd climbing to the top...the climb up was easier than the climb down!

Sydney attempted to rappel down, but didn't weigh enough. So Kevin had to climb back up and then down climb with her.

The bird thing is SO cool! I didn't even know we had marmuts (sp?) here in the US - did I know they were a real animal?! I don't even know... other than the brand. Pitiful isn't it?! I would have loved this hike. And what a fun group - I'm sure you all had a great time. The birds are by far my favorite in this outing!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that Sydney climbed all the way to the summit! That's mind-blowing!! What a brave, amazing girl, so unlike her Grandma Hall who is totally afraid to climb a ladder! Kayleigh is a trooper too - the experiences they've had are awesome.
