Kayleigh's Bed

Each morning, our girls are expected to make their beds and get dressed before venturing downstairs....with the exception of weekends. On weekends they can be lazy and come down in their pajamas, without having to make their beds.

Sydney goes to no great lengths to beautify her bed. Most days she doesn't even put the pillow on her bed.

Kayleigh, on the other hand, regularly arranges her "friends" and displays them proudly on her bed. I began noticing this and decided to sneak some snapshots.

As you can see from the pictures, she likes to lay out a blanket, then set up her animals. You can also see we switched her bedspread half way through the week!

I'm not sure where she got the idea to do this, but I do remember doing similar things as a young girl. I had half of my bed covered in stuffed animals, all neatly arranged and sitting in their designated spots!
