On this last day of 2100 we headed east to our favorite town - Hood River. For those of you who have never been here, it's located on the Columbia River and directly to the north is Mt. Adams (in Washington) and directly to the south is Mt. Hood.
It's a beautiful, quaint little town and we dream of living there. There are a ton of wine tasting places and a very cute downtown area we like to walk through.
Anyway, we headed to a restaraunt ~ a local pub ~ for lunch and our table was unique.
The light shining through the top part made for some interesting patterns.
And having to take pictures under the top part provided some interesting angles of the girls.
Just outside this restaurant is a series of stairs. We decided to go up all 403 of them for exercise!
Then we headed to one of the wine tasting/art galleries.

Looks like a wonderful way to celebrate the New Year! After all the Holiday eating, I need to climb those stairs too, about 100 times!!
