Pistachio Nut Ornaments and a Rat Tree Topper

Lest you think the two little girls living in this house are the only weird ones, think again.

Yesterday Kevin spent a good amount of time creating these ornaments. Sydney was eating pistachio nuts and inspiration must have struck because the next thing I knew, Kevin had the hot glue gun out and was digging through the trash for a cork.

Here's the beauty he created.....

But he didn't stop with just one. He went on to create this guy too.

And now both are proudly displayed on our tree. Are you a teeny bit jealous?

When I looked at the top of our tree this morning, I noticed this rat. Since the girls can't reach that high, I see yet another sign of Kevin's weirdness.

  3. The funniest part was how focused he was on creating these....the kids were just watching and eating lunch and he was crafting away!

  4. Those are awesome, I want to buy one. Where are they sold? I'd pay $10 each for that level of artisanship. Your husband is amazing.
