It was a fantastic, sunny day here and we decided to go for a hike. We drove east and then south toward Mt. Hood and headed up the Tilly Jane trail. We were hoping to get to the Tilly Jane cabin, but our little ladies were getting tired and the snow was getting deeper.
Anyway, here are some photos from our hike....
I loved how the sunlight was coming through the trees here.
We had some great views of Mt. Hood (since we were hiking part way up it!)
But we also had fantastic views of Mt. Adams (in Washington)
Mt. St. Helens (also in Washington)
And even Mt. Rainier (also in Washington) - seeing this peak from Oregon is pretty rare
BEAUTIFUL! CAN'T BELIEVE ALL THE SNOW ALREADY! what a fun hike wish I could have been with you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful day with beautiful hikers! It looks good to see some snow, we don't have any yet and sort of hope we get some soon - just enough to make it look "Christmasy"
