The animals in our home are very loved and played with regularly, This causes them to need extra care (aka surgery). Here are some of the patients that came to the hospital yesterday.
Snake – his neck seems to be floppy and needed stuffing replacement.
Scalatcher had two ailments. One was a hole in his side (between orange and pink)
and the other was that his abdomen was ripped open
Catty also had a neck stuffing problem
And poor LeMutt ~ he has definitely seen the most surgeries of all the animals. This time his ear was hanging by a thread.
Here are the patients, waiting in the waiting room
Here are the different rooms at the hospital. The middle door is surgery, the blue cross shows emergency.
When the all were ready, the Nurse Kayleigh and Nurse Sydney would call the next patient and take them into the operating room where Dr. J Foley was waiting. Each animal got special care and attention as their surgery progressed. After a while, another surgeon showed up. Dr. K Foley is an expert surgeon when it comes to adding stuffing and was even able to see an extra patient (Eustace the dragon also needed neck stuffing)
Here are some after photos…..Scalatcher with his hole and abdomen repaired.
Snake and Eustace with improved necks (they are feeling a little bit stiff today)
We don’t have after pictures of Catty and LeMutt because they are feeling so good they are off playing.
How is Narnia? Were you able to make him "all better" at the Foley Small Animal Hospital?
ReplyDeleteWe are much better at fixing stuffed animals than real animals. But Narnia is hanging in there. He ate one meal worm a week ago. We haven't been able to get him to eat anything since then.
DeleteThis was a wonderful post! Excellent work Dr. Foleys and assistants!!! I am having a stuffing problem(do you remove too much stuffing?) and my neck is very sore. Could I possibly make an appointment? Do you have special clinic hours and days?
ReplyDeleteI love this post. Very clever and fun way to make stitching up toys!
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I actually got out a needle and thread? I even bought Sydney a kit to make a snake for her birthday - it's called "Syd the Snake". It will require me to get the sewing machine out. Don't be too surprised if someday you get a package and inside is the kit!!
