He gave me three options to choose from....
- dinner and wine tasting in Hood River
- rock climbing and dinner in Lake Oswego
- dinner and walking around Pearl District in Portland
He also told me that if I had a better idea, that would be fine too.
All three options were appealing, but my first instinct was to go rock climbing. It's become so much fun for me. We've been going regularly lately and I'm getting stronger. Plus it's really fun to find an activity to do as a couple. We tried to figure out a way to squeeze a run in there, but it was rainy and dark.
Who would have ever thought the perfect date for me would include rock climbing, running, hiking, biking or some other athletic adventure?
So last night we managed to do 4 different things....
- rock climbing at the gym
- dinner at a new to us restaraunt
- dessert at a French bakery
- drinks at a wine bar
These kind of dates (multiple locations) have become the norm for us. It gives us the opportunity to try out new places. We aren't really sit and linger type people so we enjoy the faster pace of dinner here, dessert there.
I like the way you think! It sounds wonderful(except for the rock climbing part!)
ReplyDeletei like the multi-location date idea!
