In the latter months of the 2011, I also bought a couple new CDs that a friend had recommended to me. Seeds Family Worship is a collection of Scripture verses made into songs....word for word, straight out of the NIV. And all songs also include the "address" of each verse in the song.
What's really cool is that each CD comes with two identical copies ~ one for you and one to share. When my mom was here I showed her the website, and we decided to order and share Seeds of Courage and Seeds of Faith.

I wake up with Scripture running through my head.
I regularly hear my girls singing Scripture throughout the day when they are playing.
When I was having a really tough day recently, I put these CDs on continuous play and surrounded myself with scripture so my mind wouldn't dwell on the hurt I was feeling.
Internalizing Scripture nourishes and feeds me. It focuses my mind and spirit.
If you have any interest at all in knowing Scripture I highly recommend these CDs. They are appropriate for any age and are a great way to learn ~ memorize ~ know the Word of God better.

Now, if only they would put the entire book of Colossians to music as that is my goal for this year.
I really love my CD's too. I love to listen to scripture put to music. That was all we sang in the 70's and early 80's. There is nothing better to listen to than the WORD of GOD I can never get enough!!!! I am so glad we shared !!! hugs and love

These look awesome! I'm going to take the web site to my Women's Bible Study tomorrow. I'll bet there are plenty of Moms who would love to order these for their children. I'm going to order some myself!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get something like this...I'm not too sure I'm keen on the music but I'll have to look into it a bit more. The boys are constantly singing and humming hymns from church and something like this would be great to add in for all of us!
