We are so blessed to have great neighbors who let us use their dock whenever we want. So today we packed our lunches and headed across the street to eat with the ducks.
Not long after we arrived, the ducks swam over to see what we might feed them. We decided not to feed them to see what they would do and it wasn't too long before one of them flew up to the dock.
And shortly after she arrived, her male friend followed her.
The female got pretty brave and came right up and started grabbing for our empty containers. She even tried to take a bite out of our book.
Very brave! David gets nervous to eat lunch outside when we've let the chickens out to roam. they're pretty brave as well and once nabbed his sandwich right out of his hands! (He was holding it up and I think they thought he was offering it to them...)
