Wind Mountain Hike

We've been so busy lately we haven't been able to hike much this summer. Sunday we chose a shorter hike so we could get out and enjoy some active time as a family.

Although the hike itself wasn't all that spectacular, the view from the summit of Wind Mountain was quite nice. Looking north from the west side we could see Mt. St. Helens.

 

And the western view of the Columbia River was quite nice.

On the other side, looking north we could see Mt. Adams.

 

And looking directly east we had a nice view of Dog Mountain, which we hiked a couple months ago.

Each of the girls had their hammocks along in their backpacks so we let them rest a bit.
