Grandma and Grandpa Hall Are Here!

We have visitors this week and we are all happy about it!

Yesterday, September 19th, was the scheduled foreclosure date of our favorite coffee shop. We've been praying for the bank to change their minds about it, and a couple weeks ago they did! We are so happy! This is the same coffee shop where we have done some violin concerts. Yesterday was our "victory concert" and Grandma and Grandpa Hall got to be there for it. Do you see the girls' concert ad on the tv screen?

The girls decided to teach Grandma how to play chess....

And then later in the day we went for a walk at a nearby park.

After dinner, we borrowed our neighbor's pontoon boat and went for a wine cruise on Fairview Lake.

We almost always see blue herons on the lake and last night was no exception.

That's all so far....it's cloudy and drizzly today - the first precipitation we've had for months!!
