The Coast

Today we took the gang west - to the coast. But first we had to stop at Tillamook Cheese Factory for some cheese samples and ice cream!

Then we went a little further south to Pacific City. It was a decent day. Although it was a bit hazy, it was sunny and fairly warm.

We like Pacific City because there is a big sand dune you can climb and also some great tide pools.

This little speck coming up the dune is Mom Hall....

When you get to the top you are rewarded with some great views.

The kids had a great time playing in the sand...

We also got to see a whale!

And a post would not be complete without a picture of this cutie, who really enjoyed eating sand.
