On the agenda for Monday was a visit to the Seattle Aquarium. It's located right on the waterfront, right in the heart of the city.
There were quite a few "hands on" tide pools where kids and adults could touch the creatures.
Lots of star fish. Lots and lots of star fish. All different kinds. All different colors.
Kayleigh took advantage of each photo opportunity...
The highlight of the aquarium was seeing two pacific octopuses. They were fantastic and were quite active. These photos are of "Squirt" - the smaller of the two.
And this is a video of "Rain"
There was also a cool jellyfish display
There were all sorts of interesting, beautiful and odd creatures on display.
Kevin's favorite were the cuttlefish.
Here is a video of cuttlefish. If you look closely, you can see the colors "waving" through its body.
Beautiful photos of the sea creatures - very fascinating! Looks like you all had a great time at the aquarium.
