Today was our monthly trip to the local nursing home. Because Halloween is next week and because we have new queen dresses, I encouraged all the little violinists to dress up.
You know Syd and Kay, but also playing was Josiah (who doesn't like to dress up) and my students Kati and Meghan. This was Meghan's very first performance as she just started taking lessons with me in September.
It's always such a joy to see my girls, friends and students sharing their music with the people who live there. They do it willingly and joyfully! It just so happened that this month the nursing home was celebrating "opera" and so we had some special photos taken.
Sydney is hilarious when she has this dress on. She gets all serious and regal. She was very dramatic when taking her final bow. You can see that the rest of the kids took a normal bow and she was still bowing long after the others!
Yes....you will very likely get sick of seeing photos of the girls in these dresses!
NEVER will I get tired of seeing those gorgeous girls in the royal wear!!! It blesses me so much that they got to have them!!!!! Loved all the pics of the concert! What a blessing!!!
ReplyDeleteWhere did they get this royal, regal wear? They're beautiful and if I was their age again, I would definitely take all the bows I possibly could. So very lovely!! I love you both!!
