Our latest family adventure took us north to Seattle. Kevin had a meeting scheduled for Monday night, and the girls and I decided to tag along since we'd not yet been to Seattle as a family. Instead of driving, we took Amtrak from Portland to Seattle, leaving early Sunday morning.
We each had our own backpack with everything we would need for the 2 days/nights we'd be gone.
We arrived at noon and set out to Pike's Market for lunch and site seeing.
We saw this guy and his bird doing tricks on the street and he saw Sydney and Kayleigh right away and was kind enough to let them hold his bird.
This is the bird "sleeping".
We did a lot of walking....probably 4 or 5 miles....and got some pretty good views of the Space Needle.
