I don't know why, but yesterday was a day when the girls decided the stuffed animals would all come down to breakfast. But they aren't just regular stuffed animals....they are royal animals. Both girls went into great detail explaining the lineage and who belonged to who.
I don't know if you can see the animals' accessories from the photos. Most animals had circlets around their heads, jewels around their necks and even capes.
Strange. But fun. And creative.
On another note, here's a peek into our homeschool happenings lately... We've started our annual Thankful journals. Each year they get a little more involved.
This year we've added Scripture ~ a new passage each week ~ for the girls to copy.
And in world news....the girls enjoy tracing the world map. Sydney is a bit more detailed with hers, but both seem to enjoy this activity. The idea is that after many, many repetitions of doing this, they will be able to reproduce it free hand and relatively accurately.
In case you are wondering, these are placemats and I simply cover them with tracing paper. It makes for great independent work!
super fun post!!!!!

Their imaginations amaze me! I love it! I hope there was a royal buffalo there!
