The Oregon Trail

First is a random photo of Sydney and her leopard gecko, Gandalf.

Now on to the Oregon Trail. Today we went to the "end of the Oregon Trail Museum" for a field trip.

We didn't prepare at all for this, so I'm not sure how much the girls understood. But they had fun making candles and butter.

And they also got to try out some pioneer games like potato sack racing.

And they also got to dress up and look goofy.

I know I haven't been blogging much this week. Some weeks are like that - where I would rather just live and do and not blog about every little thing we do.

It's a beautiful sunny (and windy) day here...not typical at all for this time of year. We had gorgeous views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helen's as we drove to and from the field trip today.
