Another weekend has come and gone without any great adventures.
Instead we decided to tackle some home renovation projects. We decided to take our house off the market on Friday, and jumped right into the projects we had brainstormed IF we ended up staying here.
First on the list was to replace this shower door. It's amazing what a difference a clean, new shower door makes.

Our next project is to redo this 1/2 bath. I'll give you a peek, but save the rest for the reveal when it's all done.
On Saturday evening we went to a 70s themed birthday party for a friend at church. The invitation said "dress accordingly if you dare" or something like that, so we went shopping at Goodwill on Friday night. We didn't find anything great, but did find stuff that would pass....bell bottom jeans, wedge shoes, big sunglasses, Journey t-shirt.
On the way to the party I suggested that we might be the only ones who bothered to dress up. Wouldn't that be funny?
Guess what? We were the only ones who bothered to dress up.
On Sunday we headed west of Portland to hike through a wetlands wildlife refuge. It wasn't really worth the drive.
But we saw lots of ducks and birds and geese and big white things. Most of which we can see at the lake across the street from our house.
We also saw some pussy willows and seeing those always makes me happy. (And I remember the time my brother told me to put one up my nose and I did. And we had to go to the ER to get it out).
So that was our weekend. I'll leave you with a super cute picture of my super cute girl (who has two loose teeth right now!!!)
YEAH 2 loose teeth!!!!! oh boy Kayleigh!!
