Easter

Easter morning was bright and sunny! (too sunny to get good photos of the girls and I forgot to try again later). The girls chose these outfits when we were cashing in gymbucks a while back. They wanted to match...

The girls joined the other kids at our church in singing two songs for the congregation. Then the three of us played our Easter medley for communion. It was such a joy for me to have them do this with me and they did so well. Because our church has two services, we were there for quite a while!

Then we came home, ate some candy and then headed to our friends' house for food and fun.

After we ate, the dads hid eggs in the backyard. Here is proof that the kids were peeking over the fence trying to watch.

We brought along our Kanjam game and played a couple games. I was exhausted when we got home and went to bed around 8:45! I think it was all the sun, all the anticipation and all the fun of the weekend.
