We hiked along the Deschutes River and it was such a beautiful time of year to be there. Usually this area is very dry and the hills are brown. But today the hills were covered in spring green and beautiful wildflowers. Much of this area burnt last year in a forest fire, but we were happy to see signs of life all around.
We did a lot of walking - somewhere between 7 and 8 miles!
We saw lots of creatures....fuzzy caterpillars
lizards
and these huge beetles that, strangely, do headstands when you touch them
And I also saw this beautiful creature....I just love butterflies!
such a beautiful day and your pictures are awesome I enjoyed your hike very much thank you for taking me on it!!!
