Saturday Bike Ride

We loaded up our bikes and drove east to where the Deshutes River meets the Columbia. We've hiked here several times before, in fact we were just here last month, when it was greener and the wildflowers were blooming. But this time we could cover more ground because we were on bikes. There is a really nice, mostly flat gravel road that follows the river. And it's closed to vehicles, so it's perfect for biking. We passed hikers, other bikers and also horses.

Now we are back to rain, rain, rain....
