A Special Dinner and a Duck

The other night Sydney declared it was fancy night and she did a beautiful job setting the table.

We even got lemon wedges with our lemonade! And pink straws...



This is Pansy - our "pet" duck. Pansy made a rather unfortunate choice....she chose to make her next right on the side of the pond that backs up to our yard. I say unfortunate because the girls have adopted her and try to help her make her next more comfortable.

At the local park they found some cottony fluffy stuff and brought it home. They also lined the next with rose petals.

I don't see her in the nest today, so I'm wondering if she's decided to relocate.....
