On Saturday we loaded up our bikes and headed to a city west of Portland for some biking.
We stopped at a couple different parks we found along the way to play.
Kevin preached and did a great job talking about how we need to have an outward focus when it comes to our faith. He even managed to work in a Whitney Houston song illustration - Greatest Love of All - and dispelled Whitney's claim that the "greatest love of all" is learning to love ourselves.
After two church services, we rushed home, changed clothes and headed out to a state park to meet another family from church for an afternoon of fishing. Like us, they have two girls and the four ladies had fun catching salamanders and crayfish.
Their youngest (far right) and Sydney were born one day apart....Sydney being a day older than Becca!
Then we rushed home and two other couples from our church over for homemade pizza.
