Garden in July

We've had some heavy rain followed by hot days here and that means lots of garden growth.

my herb garden with sunflowers and zinnias

We've got basil, chives, thyme, oregano, dill, parsley and carrots in here

The cucumbers are loving the trellis I have for them to climb

I think this entire bed will be filled with strawberries next year. There are shoots coming out in every direction. Also in this bed...beans, broccoli, cauliflower, rhubarb and more sunflowers.

The bed on the other side of the yard has zucchini, tomatoes, sunflowers, marigolds, zinnias and raspberries.

All the sunflowers, marigolds and zinnias are from last year's flowers. I love to harvest the seeds and save them for the next year.

And here are some of the new flowers blooming... I love how this plant below has both pink blooms and pink and white blooms on the same plant. It did this last year, too.

Anyone know what this is? It's very, very tall and looks weed-like. I almost pulled them out because I wasn't sure what they were. Last year I planted some wildflower seeds and it might be from that. I have seen them out in the wild.
