We really wanted to sail again this weekend, but we've had cool, cloudy mornings. In an effort to see sun, we drove east for a hike. Our destination was Wind Mountain. We've done this hike before....you might remember it from the pictures.

On our way home we stopped to see some wind surfers and kite boarders. It was a very, windy day in the gorge...especially near Hood River...so lots of people were out. It was really fun to watch them. You can see that some of them were even getting air as they jumped waves.
And then, for the 3rd weekend in a row, we found ourselves in Hood River eating pizza and frozen yogurt!
Looks like another wonderful weekend for the Foleys - can't go wrong ending up in Hood River! Those wind surfers are amazing! It's a wonder they don't crash into each other- there's so many and they're going so fast!
ReplyDeleteGreat weekend!!! I love Hood River too! Those girls are so beautiful!!!! They are growing so fast. can't wait to see them!!!!! We love to watch the wind surfers on the Lake at the lighthouse. I always think Kevin should do that but then I remember his back.
