Garden in August

Because I personally love to look back and see what my garden looked like at different times during the year, I'm going to post photos from my garden.

This is my favorite time of year for the garden. After months and months of waiting, everything is growing. Flowers are blooming and there are plenty for cutting and bringing inside. Vegetables are ready for harvest and eating.

The zinnias and marigolds that I planted from seed (from last year's crop) are beginning to bloom. They are growing tall...must think they are sunflowers or something!

A couple weeks ago I cut back the lupine and it has started to bloom again.

And we have some voluntary morning glories climbing up our sunflowers!

Adding lots of color to the garden are these three....

And soon the sunflowers will bloom - my favorite!
