More From Our Weekend

Unfortunately, Friday was the only really good day weather wise. Apparently Oregon figured out that fall really begins on Sept 21 and the clouds have set in and the rain has started falling. Usually we have great weather through much of October but not this year.

So here is the rest of our weekend....

We saw some quail (quite a few, actually)

walked by some gorgeous flower beds still in bloom

Hung out at a bridge with colored flags

Hiked past some gigantic trees

Ate some jelly beans

Ate some goldfish crackers

Walked across logs

Jumped off logs

Sat on logs

And fished in the source of this river

This is the Fall River and we hiked up to its source, which is a series of springs. It's really amazing to think that such a big river is created out a few springs that look like nothing. The water was so, so clear. It was amazing.
