Our Week

We had a fully week. The first half of the week was gorgeous - sunny and in the 70s. The latter half cooled down and the clouds set in (but no rain). 

I've had to start putting this board up between the girls so they can focus a bit more when they are doing independent work.

And Sydney still finds unique ways to read. This is what I saw when I walked into the kitchen this week.

Leaves make Kayleigh very happy. She spent a little time each day raking them into a pile. Then she would run through them or sit in them and throw them up in the air.

On Friday we went to the park because I wanted to get some good photos of the girls. I also wanted to try my black and white setting (I don't think I like the camera setting). I got a lot of goofy pictures (and a few good ones).

Today we went hiking...it's been a while since we've spent a day hiking as a family, so we were eager to get out. We headed east to find the sun.
