A Weekend With Grandparents

Grandma and Grandpa Redman are here for a visit and Grandma is crazy like usual. 

We've had some nice-ish days so far. Rain, but not constant.

We went for a walk today because it was so nice. But the farther we got from home, the darker the skies got. At the furthest point of our walk it started to rain. Really rain. We took shelter under a tree for a while and then walked through the rest of the park with it raining off and on.

Finally it was pouring and we were cold. We called home to Grandpa who came and rescued us in the car.

 Before all the rain, we walked by these huge fungus growth formations. They were beautiful.

And I just love this tree this time of year...it's so unique!
