Science Experiements, Appetizers, Passport Photos and Commercials

The girls have been begging to do more science experiments so I let them choose one earlier this week. We made "elephant's toothpaste". 

It's just hydrogen peroxide with soap. You add yeast, which works as a catalyst, and soon you have a foaming mess all over.

On Tuesday night Kevin had a dinner at work so the girls and I each made a tray of "appetizers" to contribute to dinner. Kayleigh made a plate of ham and cheese (garnished with fruit strips), Sydney made "carrot clusters" (carrots, mayo, cucumber, pretzels and cheese) and I roasted some veggies.

We have a BIG trip in the works so the girls needed new passports. In an effort to save a little $ I took the photos myself. Hopefully at the first of the year we'll get their new passports in the mail! Now we have some tickets to buy....any guesses where we are going? (no fair answering if you already know)

Finally, the girls really like making commercials....they make themselves laugh pretty hard. Here are a couple of the latest ones.
