A New Hike

On Saturday we hiked a new to us trail - around the top of Larch Mountain. We've tried to hike this trail before, but on that particular day Sydney was not feeling well so we didn't get very far. It's fun after 5 years of avid hiking in this area, to find and hike new trails.

I won't narrate these pics...just let you enjoy them and what we saw on our hike.

After hiking 6 miles around the top of Larch Mountain - through the forest - we walked just a little bit further to the Larch Mountain lookout - Sherrard Point. It was pretty clear, but the clouds were setting right on the mountains and the only one really showing off was Mt. Hood.

Under those clouds are Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier
