Fun in our Backyard

It's been a while since I've posted anything....

last week we had this little guy at our house quite a bit.

His name is Liam and he's the son of our good friends. We like him a lot.

We welcomed many new praying mantis babies to the yard as our egg sac hatched!

We also found a bat living in the eaves of our house. It flew out when we were pressure washing the house and perched on a nearby tree.

On the 4th of July we went across the street and watched the boat parade on our neighbors' dock.

Also, ever since we've returned from violin camp, the girls have been teaching their stuffed animals how to play violin - their lessons even include practice assignment sheets!

Finally, we've had some pretty amazing sunsets lately - especially last night!
