Over the weekend we went to an air show that was relatively near by (other side of Portland). It was HOT (90 degrees), but it was interesting to watch the different stunts and flights.
We saw a couple different parachute displays...
And this pilot was amazing at what he could do in his plane.
We also got to watch an F22 do it's thing. This guy had to come in from PDX (Portland airport) because of runway regulations. Man...they are fast and loud.

On our way home we could see smoke from the Estacada 36 Pit Fire looming over Mt. Hood. It was quite cool.
Smoky skies often make for great sunsets and this one did not disappoint!
The airshow reminds me of my Dad-he loved to go to them and took us to plenty when we were kids. They are pretty neat.
