Nicaragua 2015 ~ The End

Here are the rest of my photos - things I saw while walking the streets between the guesthouses.

This house was destroyed in the 1972 earthquake and never demolished. Now there are trees growing in the middle of it.

These trees were growing through and/or over the wall...it was crazy!

On our final day we went to Ana's house (she's one of the maids). She invited us over for tea and was so happy that we said we would come.

These are her three daughters and two granddaughters. Aren't they beautiful?

She was telling us that she had trouble reading - not that she couldn't read, but that she had trouble seeing the words. Jonas had an extra pair of $1 reading glasses and they did the trick! It was so cool to see her go from not being able to see, to reading the Bible out loud to us!

And this ends my photos...I still have probably 100 more, but I've shared the best. And I'm ready to talk about other things (like rabbits - ha!)
