Falls Creek Falls

Today we hiked to Falls Creek falls in Washington. We've never done this trail before and it was wonderful. I love forest hikes - I love to look for "treasures" as I walk - mushrooms, moss, wildflowers and creatures. And then when the hike ends at a magnificent waterfall...well, that's just a great bonus.

These were the main attraction. The sun was bright and the mist was thick. Not great for photographing, but it did give a pretty cool affect.

I'm so glad I remembered to take my tri-pod on this hike. It helps for capturing the water with a slower shutter speed.
