A couple months ago Kevin got the idea that maybe this summer we could all play music together in parks and farmer's markets. So the girls have been learning fiddle tunes and yesterday was our big family debut. Last Saturday Kevin and I played a bit at the farmer's market and were invited to return any week to play the earlier hours of the market (8:30-10). And that's just what we did. It was a nice day, but a bit chilly, so our fingers were not very happy. Still, we did ok and managed to make $30 from tips!
Last week Kevin and I also played at our church banquet.
We are trying to come up with a name for our group...do you have any suggestions?
(and please don't suggest Foley Fiddlers...)
I love it!! You are all too much! I can't get over your talent, courage and ability to try new things! In the short video you shared, you sounded great! I recognize the song-one of my favorites! Can I book you into the Clarence farmer's market while your here in July? Or maybe a poolside concert for the family??
