Now blooming in the backyard....
sunflowers
and morning glories
I try to stay on top of trimming the dead blooms off my plants and usually am able to get more than one bloom per season. This rose bush is on it's 3rd or 4th round of full bloom!
And in bunny news...here's Buttercup. Of the two rabbits, she's the easier one to catch.
We had some rain this past week which means we have water in the pond again. It's so fun to have ducks again. I love hearing them quack throughout the day.
We've got a busy weekend. Tomorrow evening Kevin and I play at a winery in Hood River and the girls are spending the night at a friend's house. Sunday is a wedding in our new church building and I'm playing violin. Thankfully we were able to obtain a temporary occupancy permit for the one day so we could have the wedding there. The girls and I were there this morning helping clean and set up - they were still laying carpet in the entrance! There is probably 2 weeks worth of cleaning and work to get the place ready, but the bride and groom brought in a small army of friends and family to help so it might just get done.
Your garden is so lovely! Hope your gig in Hood River today is a success! How exciting your having a wedding in your brand new church tomorrow! You do have a busy weekend!!
