We took the week off work and school and headed to Sunriver for a few days of rest and relaxation before Thanksgiving. It was much colder there and we were excited about a chance of snow.
Monday was beautiful and pretty warm (50s), but on Tuesday it started snowing and continued snowing for almost 24 hours.
Driving home Wednesday was much slower than usual. They get snow often enough to have plows, but they don't use salt in these parts so the roads were snow packed and slippery.
We stopped at a scenic overlook of the Crooked River canyon. It was really pretty, but a little freaky how steep the canyon was.
Happy Thanksgiving! Looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty! No snow in these parts yet.
