Lemonade Stand and Boat Rides

This week was the girls' annual lemonade stand. They had friends (Abby and Angelina) over to help sell lemonade, muffins and crafts. I invited several friends from church to stop by and be our customers. We ended up with friends here (different ones coming and going) for about 3 1/2 hours!

Abby is my violin student and she serenaded some of the customers!

After several hours, the girls decided to take some lemonade across the street to our neighbor, Larry. He offered to take the four girls (and myself) on a boat ride. So we quickly closed up shop and headed across the street.

The next evening, Larry and Sherre's granddaughter was visiting (from Utah) and invited us for a sunset cruise.

This week was our first time out on the lake this summer and I had forgotten how blessed we are to have this right across the street. Another neighbor, Mike, has a two person kayak and Sydney and I took it out one day. I'm thankful for the beauty that we are surrounded by, and also for generous neighbors!
