Back to School

Can it be possible that it's time for school to start again? Can it be possible that I have 5th and 6th graders this year? Summer went by way too quickly and the girls have grown so much.

This year for school we are returning to Classical Conversations which meets weekly at a local church. We meet on Mondays and this year I'm tutoring one of the morning classes (Kayleigh's class). We stay for lunch, then attend an afternoon class (new to us this year).

The rest of the week we'll be at home doing our own thing - only at a slightly more advance level this year. We were drowning by day two, but day three (today) we learned how to "dog paddle" and seemed to find our way through.

I find the planning for homeschooling so much easier and more enjoyable than the actual doing of homeschooling. But we'll find our footing and be good to go soon.

The "prettiness" of our school desks doesn't last long, but I like to start out with a pretty classroom.
