We took advantage of some sunny weather recently, and went to a wildlife preserve in Washington. It's been raining so much that we figured that normal hiking trails would be crazy muddy, so we chose this cleaner option. It wasn't all that warm, but the turtles were out soaking up the sun.

We watched this eagle for a while. I frantically tried to change lenses and was amazed that a couple of my photos actually turned out.
looks like it was a pretty day-beautiful blue sky! We've had a lot of rain here too. April was the rainiest on record here. Hope the sun comes out soon!! Love the turtles!
