Dad and Lynn live in Crossville - about 2 hours east of Nashville. It's claim to fame is that they are the golfing capital of Tennessee and the area where Dad lives has 12 lakes and 5 golf courses. Their yard backs up to one of the golf courses. We walked along the golf cart path and it was a very pretty course - very hilly!
Dad took us into downtown Crossville to see the Military museum. It's amazing how much civil war history is in this area...something we don't see out here in Oregon.
Dad donated some military items that belonged to my grandpa, and it was interesting to see them in the display. The rope below belonged to my Grandpa Eichorst, from his time in WWII.
Then we went out on Dad's boat on one of the lakes. The girls each got a turn to drive the boat, and Kayleigh, Kevin and I all swam for a bit. The lake wasn't nearly as cold as we had thought it would be.

The rest of our time was spent walking Fancy Pants, playing games, laughing and eating.
