Top on our list of places to see in Nashville was the famed Ryman Auditorium. We found it easily, but were sad that it was so expensive to go inside - and once inside no photos would be allowed. So we decided to save our money and use it someday to actually hear a concert there.
Not sure what else to do, we just started walking around downtown Nashville. We walked by the big Country Music Hall of Fame which had pretty cool architecture.
And enjoyed the architecture of other buildings and churches.
Then we walked down Broadway (Honky Tonk Lane) and were surprised and amazed to find that nearly every bar had live music at 2 pm on a weekday!
Next we left downtown and drove to Centennial park to see the Parthenon - a replica of the one in Italy. It was very cool and quite impressive to walk around and inside.
So cool!!!!
