Making Memories

Sometimes I feel like parenting older kids is more exhausting that parenting toddlers. It's more fun, that's for sure. We've had a couple of really busy weeks with activities that required us to be out of the house by 8 or 8:30 every morning....that's tough for homeschoolers!

We had lunch out on Wednesday (burgers at the Local Cow) and then headed to $1 Waffle Cone Wednesday.

As we were walking back to our car, we saw that the museum was open. We've never been inside and so much to the girls' dismay, we wandered in.  We learned that this 100+ year old building was the original library in Gresham.

We've also had some HOT days (with an EXTREMELY HOT week coming up...) and our AC quit working. So we've been using our grill as much as possible.

And slime....this girl is obsessed with making slime. It's keeping her busy and she's made several different kinds - many failed attempts, too, which is a great way to learn.

  1. Making magical summer memories that will last a lifetime-that's what it's all about! Can't recapture this special time.
What's with the slime thing? Eve's into it too! Just another creative outlet I guess!
Hope you can survive without AC..bad timing for sure! We grill pretty much every night too because we don't have AC. Note to you...pray that there's no heat wave when you're here in Sept!!!!!
