We've had a break from the rain and extra time in our schedule which has led to more opportunities to go for walks. Kayleigh and I discovered that the park across the lake from us has had some clearing work done, and you can now walk right up to the lake shore and see the lake. Looks like the perfect spot for watching sunsets.
It appears as if spring is making an early arrival this year. It's normal for our crocus and daffodils to bloom in February, but usually it's late February. This year I saw the first crocus blooming at the end of January!
I was very surprised to see this tree blooming already! And I was very surprised to have to mow the side yard already once this year. Of course, it is just February...I suppose the weather could change on us and we could get more winter. I sure hope not.
