New House

We've had a very exciting start to August! We held an open house at our current home on Sunday, closed on the new house in Hood River on Monday, and accepted an offer on Tuesday!

Kevin and I are not ones to sit around and do things slowly....once a task is set before us, we tend to move quickly and swiftly until it's done. We took a load of boxes and other stuff with us to the closing Monday morning and got into the new house as quickly as we could. We picked out and ordered carpet, chose paint colors and shopped for some furniture.

Tuesday the girls and I headed to the house to start painting their rooms and prep the rest of the house for painting. It's going to be a lot of work, but we'll get it done. Last time we moved the girls were 3 and 5 - not much help! It will be fun to watch them put their own rooms together.
